   At an appointed time set by God Himself, the forces of heaven and earth will converge upon the world stage for one last great
confrontation. These forces will compel every individual on earth to make a final choice between good and evil.

 Mankind has operated independently from the laws of God since the fall of Adam and Eve. Yet throughout earth’s dark and sinful history, God has chosen NOT to blot our race out of existence. Neither has He forced humanity to abide by His commandments. God has wisely allowed the human race to continue, recording every event since the beginning of mankind’s rebellion.

 God grieves as He witnesses every wicked act, hears every unkind word, and reads every corrupt intention of the heart. He has no intention of allowing man’s rebellion to continue any longer than necessary. As soon as the perfect picture of sin has been drawn for the Universe to see, “He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time”  (Nahum 1:8-9).

 It is important to note that the judgment of mankind is now taking place, “And I saw the dead, small and great…judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works” (Revelation 20:12). The events recorded within the books of the dead contain the details of every born into this world. These records provide a perfect picture of humanities rebellion against his maker. The details of these records will be necessary to keep the universe secure from a repetition of sin for eternity.

 It is critical that you turn away from all evil and observe His commandments, for the place He wishes you to enter allows for no departure from His Laws. “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14).

 One clear indication of God’s soon return is the world’s focus upon the matters of daily life while neglecting the day of preparation. "When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah's day. In those days before the Flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn't realize what was going to happen until the Flood came and swept them all away (Matthew 24:37-39).

 Ignoring God in our personal lives produces in us the very same attitudes that existed before the great flood. “The LORD observed the extent of the people's wickedness, and he saw that all their thoughts were consistently and totally evil” (Genesis 6:5).The constant bombardment of evil through the media has found its way into our hearts and homes, numbing our souls. Jesus warned; “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold” (Matthew 24:12).

 A time of trouble is coming from Heaven against those who love to practice evil. When that day arrives, it will be too late for a man to turn to God. "The time is surely coming," says the Sovereign LORD...people will stagger everywhere from sea to sea, searching for the word of the LORD, running here and going there, but they will not find it” (Amos 8:12).

 Is God at the bottom of your appointment list? Is He beneath your TV remote or bill pile? Today is the day to ponder these questions and change your life! Remember God’s first commandment; “I am the LORD thy God...Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:2).

 Like a man sending voice of warning to a friend far away, so God in his mercy sends His people to deliver a message of warning through the Spirit of prophecy. “Fear God, and give glory to him;

for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters” (Revelation 14:7).

 Today, the warning of God’s great judgment day is growing into a worldwide movement. Many hearts are seeking refuge! Yet false teachers are rising to calm the concerns of multitudes who desire to hear a pleasant message. These teachers insist that the world is going into a period of peace, but this is not the truth! Jesus spoke the following words regarding His return. “Wars will break out near and far, but don't panic...The nations and kingdoms will proclaim war against each other” (Matthew 24:6-8).

 According to the Bible, those who propagate this last message of warning possess two very significant qualities that set them apart from rest of the world. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). These dedicated men and women stand ready to face an angry world as the Judgments of God fall upon various regions of the earth. These are judgments of mercy, given in a final attempt to turn evil men from their evil ways. “But the people who did not die in these plagues still refused to turn from their evil deeds” (Revelation 9:20).

 As God’s chosen people continue to advance this warning throughout the entire earth, political powers will be influenced to craft laws that restrict their activities, “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because of your allegiance to me” (Matthew 24:9). Though governments impose economic restrictions upon those who continue to promote this  warning, our message will remain unstoppable! Everyone on earth must firmly determine their allegiance. Soon, the great world power prophetically known as “The Beast of the Earth” will display his authority, “He required everyone--great and small, rich and poor, slave and free--to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name” (Revelation 13:16).

 Accepting the “Mark of the Beast” will involve the abandonment of God’s commandments. As God’s chosen withstand world opinion, they are viewed as enemies of civil peace and are finally sentenced to death. This is known in Bible prophecy as --The Abomination of Desolation-- (see Matthew 24:15). But this universal death sentence will never be carried out! Jesus and his angelic army will vacate heaven to personally deliver His faithful people. “And at that time shall Michael stand up...and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book” (Daniel 12:1).

 “And then at last, the sign of the coming of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens” (Matthew 24:30). At first, the earths great astronomers treat the sign in the heavens as an anomaly. But after many days they see that this heavenly body is on a direct course with planet earth! God and his angelic army soon become visible to every eye. It becomes evident that those who rejected this warning message have been fighting against the will of God!

 Do you wonder how YOU might stand amid the confusion of these last days? There is a simple way to test yourself. Every day you continue to neglect the worship of God, every willful action you commit against what you know to be right, is another day you unknowingly strengthen your future allegiance towards “The Beast”. If you persist, you will eventually submit to him and his deceptive power. “All the world wondered after the beast” (Revelation 13:3).

 Today is the day to decide to be faithful to your Creator!
