Abe's International Restaurant
I am going to write allegorically and it won't take long for the reader to understand where I am going with it. There is an international restaurant chain that is emerging. It’s not a new enterprise, it’s one of the oldest restaurants around. It was started long ago by a father and his son and has been passed down through many generations to his children and grandchildren. It is a family owned business and this family has determined to never sell out or allow a hostile takeover by another chain. It was the intention the founder that "Abe's" will expand into all nations.
The menu is amazing! I mean AMAZING! No other restaurant can possibly compete! There are 613 items on the menu to enjoy. Most people who visit Abe’s for their first time often do not relish all 613 items at first. But as they continue coming week after week, most find it impossible to stay away eventually everything becomes compatible with their taste buds.
Not everyone who works at Abe’s are part of their family, but they are treated so well that you'd think they were! Their employer has provided each of its employees with many great benefits. Most who gain employment there stay for life. In fact, those who work at Abe's are known to live much longer and are much happier than those working in competing companies.
What does it take to be accepted as an employee at Abe's? The first prerequisite for employment is that each employee must be willing abide by the family rules and promote all 613 items on the menu to its patrons. Employees are required to be patient with all who visit the restaurant who have not yet acquired a taste for the entire menu. They are trained to understand that if a patron finds one thing detestable, there will always be something else they will absolutely love.
As I mentioned previously, Abe's is a very old restaurant and is expanding into every nation on this earth. No other chain can possibly compete! If you have not heard about this place, you will very soon. "It shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it" (Isaiah 2:2).
